Ecological Restoration

I recently volunteered with my university’s ecological restoration club in planting native species for the Pender Island Conservancy. My involvement in this project allowed me to gain skills in the field such as native plant identification and planting while working with a team focused on environmental justice and restoration. This gave me great hands on experience working independently and in a team to complete physical field work.
